Hi james! The solution you provided didn't not work. I upload the ss to my facebook. You can take a look at here: "http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=731125&id=1043127706"

And also the system restore i tried again and i got this error message"The restore point could not be created for the following reason: The creation of a shadow copy timed out. Try again the operation[0x81000101]."

And last but not least, this is my own computer problem. You can take a look"http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=731125&id=1043127706#/photo.php?pid=731124&id=1043127706". You don't have to solve my this problem as I'm gonna to reformat my computer soon. If you know how to solve it, it will be a great help to me in case next time I encounter the same problem.

I've seen your screenshots, and for the live messenger issue it is obvious that it is not your PC's problems, nor your live messenger's. So most likely it is the network connection or firewall settings. Check the router settings, contact your ISP for more info and of course, your firewall settings. I've been signing in to live messenger these days and so far there's nothing wrong with the live messenger service as you describe.

One of the windows services known as the 'Volume Shadow Copy' which controls the system restore function seemed corrupted. System restore cannot function if the volume shadow copy cannot be created. By all rights, system restore can function even under safe-mode; it's unusual that the system restore services would corrupt that easily...perhaps she installed a badly-written third-party backup utility software?

Your PC problem is more straightforward: java runtime on your Vista SP2 PC has a missing file that executes java commands from external application or web services, most likely caused by the application you installed which rewrites your java with older codings. The only problem is that since i'm no computer engineer, i could not solve the problems; only identify it. I would suggest that you try a clean uninstall and reinstall of java on your PC, but other than that, there's nothing much i can do.

P.S: It is always wiser to not reformat a PC if you can help it, unless you simply had too much time on your hands...;)

I will do more research on the msn.

For the system restore, I will take a look at her computer regarding whether she got install any 3rd party backup software.

For the Java, I will try.

I reformat my computer are also for other reasons.

And 1 last thing is do you have any idea to edit the auto-run? Cuz I install codysafe(if you know what is that). Despite I uninstalled from computer, it somehow have some "remains" in the auto-run section. Thanks.

try opening the autorun file using notepad. Notepad is the best utility for editing autorun scripts.
