Easier File Management with Q-Dir

Here's a useful tool for PC users who download, move, rename, duplicate and scatter their documents, files and folders all over their hard disk and constantly require management to clean things up. Q-Dir is a windows utility developed by Nenag Hrd that makes your files and folder easier to manage.

Instead of opening four separate windows and view contents in turn, Q-Dir allows users to have faster and easier access to all four folders with its amazing Quadro-View technique. Users can view up to four explorers in Q-Dir’s own windows, allowing faster and better file management such as copying, pasting, cutting or maybe just comparing between files.

Even with the above provided functions, user don't have to abandon the usual, Drag and Drop, all Views, and other original functions of your system. If users still want to use those functions, they are still able to use it. However, users who gets tired on having to constantly mouse over different folders just to manage their files will definitely enjoy Q-Dir better.

One more interesting thing about Q-Dir is that the portable version of it does not use any resources, so users does not have to install Q-Dir on their machine. Instead they can just execute the program easily from the desktop. Its file size is not large at all, making it a very good tool to bring around in your external storage devices. Amazing, isn’t it?

Some features and recent change logs of Q-Dir include:

Favorites:
Quick access to most often used folders.

Drag&Drop:
Move files by dragging in Q-views, and other programs such as MS Explorer.

Clipboard:

Faster edit:
from v3.86 onwards, Q-Dir allows faster editing/rename of the files.

File association:
from v3.91 onwards, Q-Dir permits internal file association rules.

Wanting to use this tool or not is entirely up to you. I find this tool very convenient, but i do not use it regularly because i do not mess up my hard drive too much and that i am already used to the old Drag and Drop functions of windows. At the end of the day, i would only say that it is a recommendable utility software if you think managing all your files, folders and documents simply take you too much time and you want to speed things up a little bit.

Q-Dir runs on Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7, including all Windows Server edition. All 32-bit and 64-bit of Windows are supported.
