I am currently writing at Computelogy.com actively and that's why i sort of abandoned my own tech blog. Since i am too busy to be taking care of both sides, i guess this blog will go into hibernation for a very very long time. Regrettable, but then it's hard to come up with new posts & stuffs.

So once again, i am now writing actively at Computelogy. Feel free to visit there and enjoy our latest articles and posts!

Arachnophilia A Free XHTML/HTML Editor

You will not find many free XHTML/HTML. The reason is our response to the programmer who spent his precious time to develop free program and in reward he never praised. On the other hand we pay for commercial program which offer the same functions even sometime less functions compared to that free program which we did not like to use because it is free.

Arachnophilia is a full featured HTML editor (written in JAVA) with an internal browser "Instant View" mode shows your HTML changes as you make them with each keystroke! As it is written in JAVA, you can run it on any operating system.

It supports up to 6 Web browsers, you can switch among them in matter of time. Arachnophilia offers development of HTML, frames, CGI, Perl, C++, Java and JavaScript with many intelligent tools and functions, as well as a built in intelligent FTP client, that automatically uploads changed files to your server.

It offers us powerful keyboard macros, that can include system commands, even other macros, for maximum flexibility. User defined toolbars provide any tags or content you need for any of the supported languages and support system commands as well. User defined file templates. comes with built in step by step tutorials on HTML development, JavaScript, frames, the Internet.

Arachnophilia has two displays:
· A syntax-highlighted programming editor without line wrapping, and
· A normal line-wrapped text display.

To switch between them, simply right-click and choose the one you want. Each user who logs onto your system (or network) will get a separate installation of the Arachnophilia configuration files. This means each user's configuration choices and custom macro set are distinct and separate.

To get it work properly, you need to have JAVA installed in your system. The minimum JAVA requirement is v1.5. It will work with all later versions of JAVA.
